Why I Love Oshawa
Why do I love downtown Oshawa? It’s the heartbeat of the city. It’s a destination where community meets. I love going into family owned businesses & being greeted by name. To feel a sense of belonging. I’ve had the pleasure of being involved with several of the BIA working groups which offers opportunities to serve & be a part of making a difference in the downtown core. May I encourage you to get involved. There is a great sense of fulfilment and pride when we take responsibility in serving our community.

Our law practice, Darrel Hotz – Barrister & Solicitor, has been operating in Halton Region for over 30 years. We were warmly welcomed by the community, with a strong shout out to the Downtown Economic Development Office, who has been a strong resource. We proud to be part of the vision that continues to develop, grow and prosper. Each month, Oshawa continues to shine and we are proud of our decision to become part of this vibrant community.
Barb Wiseberg – Director of Communications, Darrel N. Hotz – Barrister & Solicitor
“I love the downtown for it’s mix of modern and classic. While our core progresses in development of new spaces for living, working and playing, it still has some great reflections of where we came from, and transitions to present. It’s lively, diverse, safe and welcoming.”
Paul Dobbs – Resident of Oshawa
