New Downtowns of Durham Website Spotlights Downtown Oshawa
Oshawa, Ontario - On Friday, May 21st, 2020, the Downtowns of Durham website launched to support downtown areas and encourage residents, tourists, and all others to explore our downtown. Downtowns of Durham serves as a central hub for all the downtown areas in the Durham Region.
This project is a collaborative initiative of the Durham Region Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) and the Economic Development and Tourism Division of the Regional Municipality of Durham. In Downtown Oshawa, small businesses help create the vibrant entertainment, arts, culture, food, and shopping scene in the area, this website enhances the promotion of our small businesses, in response to the COVID-19 crisis. - A brief overview of each downtown
- A searchable business directory for all downtowns
- Contact information for all BIAs and downtown businesses
- Updated COVID-19 pick-up, curbside, or delivery status for businesses
- Stories, blogs, and articles from community members of each downtown
