New pop-up art installation by Indigenous artist to be unveiled at 70 King in Oshawa
Starting Tuesday afternoon, your drive down part of King Street in downtown Oshawa is going to be a lot more colourful.
Owner of 70 King, formerly the Genosha Hotel, Rick Summers, says they’re going to be unveiling an art display by the well-known Indigenous artist Mishibinijima.
“It’s quite a very unique, very interesting collection,” said Summers. “So we thought that we would display it in our prime frontage.”
He says it will be able to be enjoyed by both pedestrians and drivers.
